Abu Ghazaleh Announced the launch of a New Industrial Project in Tafileh Industrial City

Minister of Investment Dr. Tareq Abu Ghazaleh announced today the launch of a new industrial project in Tafileh Industrial City, backed by a Kuwaiti investment exceeding 20 million JOD.

The project, named “SACEM,” will establish a factory for manufacturing electrical transformers. In its first phase, it will create around 50 jobs, with plans to reach full production capacity within 3–5 years, potentially doubling the investment and workforce as it expands.

The Minister emphasized that this project reflects the Royal directives to enhance development across governorates and highlights Tafileh’s strong and promising investment environment.

Kuwaiti lead investor Haider Al-Zankawi praised Jordan’s facilitation efforts and the warm reception in Tafileh, while local MPs and officials welcomed the investment and reaffirmed their support for its success.

The first phase includes preparing the factory’s infrastructure, followed by equipment installation, with operations expected to begin in the coming months.
